Let’s Talk About the Power of Your Brain
The power of our brain is enormous—far greater than we usually believe or use in our daily lives. Most of the time, we are not limited by reality itself, but by the way we interpret it. We underestimate this inner force and get used to thinking “I can’t” or “it’s not up to me”, when in fact, the mind is the tool that can either lift us up or keep us stuck.
An interesting example that really makes you think is the movie Lucy. The story follows a young woman who is kidnapped by traffickers and forced to carry an experimental substance inside her body. After an accident, the substance is released and begins to stimulate her brain. From that moment on, her ability to focus, learn, and perceive reality increases step by step, each stage clearly illustrated. Beyond the science-fiction aspect, the movie delivers a powerful message: the potential of the human mind is far greater than we imagine, and accessing it depends on our level of awareness. After watching this film, it’s almost impossible not to question how much of your brain you actually use.
Another extremely powerful example of mental strength is The Tattooist of Auschwitz (you can find the book here). This story shows how strength of character, hope, and a life-oriented mindset can make the difference even in the most inhumane conditions. Surviving Birkenau–Auschwitz proves that when the mind does not completely surrender, human beings can find unimaginable resources to endure, adapt, and move forward. Often, it’s not the body that gives up first—but the mind.
Science speaks more and more about neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to adapt, rewire itself, and learn throughout life. This means you are not “broken,” “lost,” or “too late.” It means that through repetition, focus, and intention, you can train your mind just as you train your body. Today’s thoughts become tomorrow’s habits.
It is often said that God gives you exactly as much as you can handle. If you are facing a difficult situation, maybe it’s not a punishment, but proof of your inner strength. And if life gives you lemons, make lemonade—not because it’s easy, but because it’s the choice that keeps you moving forward.
Of course, there are real tragedies in life: incurable diseases, serious accidents, irreversible losses. These are moments that change everything and cannot be “fixed” with forced positivity. But in many other situations, problems are more a test of perspective than of reality. And where there is breath, there is still possibility.
When you feel stuck, take a pause. Step back. Breathe. Look at the situation from the outside, as if it were someone else’s problem. Very often, solutions appear not when you force them, but when you calm your mind. And when you feel like there is no solution left, the truth is that there is almost always at least one—you just can’t see it from the emotional state you’re in.
You are what you think. Not in a magical sense, but in a deeply human one. Your thoughts influence your decisions, decisions create actions, and actions build your life. That’s why so many books talk about the power of the mind and how you can attract experiences by the way you direct your attention.

Reading is one of the most powerful ways to build and strengthen neural connections. Each time you read, your brain creates new pathways, links ideas, and trains itself to think deeper, clearer, and more critically. Reading doesn’t just give you information—it reshapes the way you process reality.
Unlike passive consumption, books force the mind to imagine, reflect, and connect concepts. Over time, this practice consolidates your thinking patterns, improves focus, and expands perspective. A few pages a day may seem insignificant, but neurologically, they are anything but.
