Why Burnout Notes Was Born: The Story Behind My Purpose
There was a moment that changed everything for me.
A while ago, I watched a movie called 90 Minutes in Heaven. I didn’t expect much — just another film for a quiet evening. But by the end of it, something inside me shifted. It felt like a revelation, a moment of deep clarity. For the first time, I understood my true purpose in life.
I realized I don’t want to simply exist.
I don’t want to be one more rushed actor stepping on stage only to disappear when the scene is over.
I want to live with intention.
I want my role to continue long after the lights fade — by helping as many people as I can, through any means I have.
That is why Burnout Notes exists. It is part of my purpose.
And if you’re reading these words, maybe it’s time to discover your own.
Your stage is waiting, every second of your life.
But the story didn’t start with the movie…
My journey began long before that revelation — during one of the hardest periods of my life: burnout.
Burnout has a way of sneaking into your life quietly. It doesn’t announce itself. For months, maybe years, you push through stress, pressure, deadlines, responsibilities, believing that everything is “just a phase.” You tell yourself that you only need to get through this week. Or the next one. Or the next.
But your body always keeps the score.
During my burnout, I learned to recognize the real enemy.
I learned to listen to my body — not just when it broke, but long before that.
And I had to rediscover the basic tools that help us heal.

The first step: awareness
Most people who face burnout don’t realize what’s happening. They think they’re simply tired or overly stressed. They believe things will “calm down soon.”
But that’s the trap.
Burnout doesn’t fade on its own.
Ignoring it only pushes the body further toward exhaustion — and eventually, toward more serious health issues.
Awareness is the first and most essential step.

The second step: reclaiming yourself
Once you acknowledge burnout, the healing begins — often in small, humble ways.
You start to notice how many pieces of yourself you’ve abandoned:
•your old routines
•your favorite hobbies
•the joy of being around friends
•the habit of going out, connecting, or simply breathing freely
Burnout makes you forget who you are.
To heal, you must reconnect with the parts of you that got lost along the way.
Sometimes this means taking a real break — stopping everything, even for a moment, and allowing your body and mind to rest.
If you feel your body tightening, your breath shortening, or your mind slipping into overwhelm, that’s your cue:

So why does Burnout Notes exist?
Burnout Notes was born from a mission:
