What Is Your Purpose in Life?
Recently, I watched a movie called 90 Seconds in Heaven.
It was one of those moments that stay with you long after the screen goes dark. That movie helped me reconnect with my purpose in life, and from that realization, the idea of starting this blog was born.
You might be wondering what that purpose is.
Simply put: to help people in any way I can.
Of course, my main focus is on helping those who are going through depression, burnout, overwhelming stress, and procrastination. Why? Because I believe that everything I’ve been through—especially my own burnout episode—was not random. I see it as preparation. A way for life (or divinity) to shape me into someone who can now share thoughts, experiences, and hope with others who are standing in the same place I once stood.
Recently, a follower of the blog shared their perspective on how to deal with burnout. Their message was simple:
“Just harden up.” From a certain point of view, it’s a valid answer. Sometimes strength and resilience really do matter. But deep down, I know that when burnout reaches its peak—when exhaustion takes over your mind and body—you no longer have the strength to find solutions or see a way out. In those moments, external help becomes essential. You can find early signs of burnout in this post.
Reading blog posts, books, or ideas from people who have already gone through similar experiences can make a huge difference. Even the simple realization that you are not the only one struggling like this can bring relief. And above all, in my opinion, the most important support comes from the people close to us—through encouragement, through noticing progress, through being there. I will definitely write more about this in a future post.
The movie 90 Seconds in Heaven speaks deeply about meaning, faith, and the power of the mind and soul to heal. Based on a true story. A man had a car crash and stand in the car, without a pulse for an hour and a half, while EMT’s and police waited for the coroner to pronounce him dead before he can be moved. Another man comes along, who feels led to pray for the victim, gets in the car and starts to pray while singing praise songs. The ‘dead’ man starts singing along and EMT’s confirm he now has a pulse. The victim fights his recovery, as he is angry that he was in heaven, only to have God bring him back in incredible pain. Was there a purpose to his return to earth? Another post that might inspire you can be “Be the change you want to see in the world!”.
On the same note, I highly recommend exploring books that focus on the healing power of the mind, such as those written by Joe Dispenza, “Evolve Your Brain: The Science of Changing Your Mind” , it’s about an accident in which he suffered a fractured spine, after which the doctors didn’t give him much chance even with surgery, and through the power of his mind he recovered without surgery, a book which have personally inspired me. This is only the beginning. I won’t stop here. I will do everything I can to help as many people as possible—not only those dealing with stress, burnout, or depression, but also people in need, those without a home, those who feel forgotten. I discovered that helping others gives me strength. It gives me purpose. Probably you too. Let’s make a better world together!
I realized that one of the most important things in life is to exist in someone else’s prayer. I don’t want praise or big words. I only wish that the people I help bless me with kind thoughts and sincere gratitude in their hearts.
When you do things without expecting anything in return, straight from the heart, something changes. Strength and inspiration start flowing in ways you can’t measure, and life becomes clearer. In the end of the post I’ll put a song, which inspires me everytime I listen it.
Have you discovered your purpose in life?
What is it?
I’m truly looking forward to your inspiring messages.
You are not alone!
